Flutist Daniel Lee, a graduate of Hfm Dresden, Germany, has performed extensively in three continents. As a soloist based in Dresden, Germany, he has performed extensively in cities such as Dresden, Leipzig, Meissen, Gorlitz, Chemlitz and Kassel in Germany as well as countries such as Poland, Czech Republic, and South Korea. As an orchestral musician, he was a member of Junge Munchener Philharmonic in Munich, RIAS Orchester in Berlin, and Hfm Orchester in Dresden. His time as an orchestral musician gave him a unique opportunity to perform under world-renowned conductors such as Sir Colin Davis and Marek Janoski.
Daniel Lee’s two main teachers are Eckart Haupt, principal of the Staatskapelle Dresden and Stephan Rety, Principal of the Basel Symphoniker. He also attended master classes by Robert Aitken, Adras Adorjan, Renate Greiss Armin, and Petri Alanko.
Daniel Lee and his wife, Yuju Lee founded Klassik Arts Music School in San Diego, in which they continue to perform and teach full time.
