Welcome to the Klassik Arts flute lessons studio where you will find the best program for learning how to play the flute. No previous music experience necessary. You CAN have beautiful tone and the knowledge it takes to read music yourself (and enjoy every minute of it).

With performance based curriculum in mind, our flute lessons have a great emphasis on performance and fundamentals in flute playing. Flute lessons are given in the studio or online with Daniel Lee. Klassik Arts offers flute lessons from Beginner level through Advanced Level where each flute lessons are personally designed for each students needs. During the lesson, core fundamentals of flute playing are addressed and improved such as breathing, posture, tone, technique, phrasing. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in various performances throughout the year as well as various competitions. Certificate of Merit preparation is also offered to students.

Daniel Lee

Flutist Daniel Lee, a graduate of Hfm Dresden, Germany, has performed extensively in three continents. As a soloist based in Dresden, Germany, he has performed extensively in cities such as Dresden, Leipzig, Meissen, Gorlitz, Chemlitz and Kassel in Germany as well as countries such as Poland, Czech Republic, and South Korea. As an orchestral musician, he was a member of Junge Munchener Philharmonic in Munich, RIAS Orchester in Berlin, and Hfm Orchester in Dresden. His time as an orchestral musician gave him a unique opportunity to perform under world-renowned conductors such as Sir Colin Davis and Marek Janoski.

Daniel Lee’s two main teachers are Eckart Haupt, principal of the Staatskapelle Dresden and Stephan Rety, Principal of the Basel Symphoniker. He also attended master classes by Robert Aitken, Adras Adorjan, Renate Greiss Armin, and Petri Alanko.

Daniel Lee and his wife, Yuju Lee founded Klassik Arts Music School in San Diego, in which they continue to perform and teach full time.
